New Display Item~~~~3634~3638~~
New Display Item~ Admiralty Paints from Caldercraft are a new brand of paints specifically designed formodellers.
The first range in this brand of paint has been designed specificallyfor 17th / 18th / 19th Century Man of War colours.
This range of scale paints has beencolour matched to the Admiralty colours, as still used on HMS Victory in Portsmouth.
Unlike other manufacturers, these are not toy paints and have been designed specificallyfor use on model ships to give consistent coverage and colour.
In order to achieve this, they may contain lead / lead chromate and as such should not be used on children’stoys or surfaces that may be chewed.

Admiralty Paints are touch dry in 2 – 4 hours and hard dry in 8 – 16 hours depending upon drying conditions. These times will be extended under cooler conditions and accelerated under warmer conditions. Admiralty Paints are all white spirit thinnable and, due to the quality of pigments and chemicals used, small amounts can cover larger areas. When applying more than one coat, the second coat should be applied after 24 hours of the first application. Not only will this ensure the paints do not turn glossy but in many cases, after 24 hours, you will find sufficient coverage from only 1 or 2 coats.~~~3634~3640~~
